CALL FOR PAPERS - NATCON 2017

It gives us immense pleasure to announce that the IIA NATCON 2017 will be hosted by the IIA Odisha Chapter in the “Temple City”- BHUBANESWAR ; the capital of Odisha.

We hereby invite papers on the Main Theme and the Sub - Themes as mentioned below:

MAIN THEME:-   ARCHITECTURAL FOOTPRINTS - IMPACT ON CITIES

SUB-THEMES: -

• SOCIO-CULTURAL IMPRINT

• INFRASTRUCTURE & TECHNOLOGY

• ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABILITY

• LEGISLATION & REFORMS

Last date for Submission of Papers: - November 20, 2017

Guidelines for submitting the papers are as follows:

• The manuscript should be 1500-2000 words long, typed in English, line spacing of 1.0 and must contain minimum 2 images or graphics.
• All the images must be in JPEG/JPG/TIFF format only with minimum of 300 DPI resolution and file size not less than 800 KB.
• The font should be “Times New Roman” and font size :12.
• The margins should be Normal (1” all sides) .
• References/ End Notes/ Source of Information should be mentioned.
• The manuscripts must be submitted in a PDF and Word format to the following E-mail id: iia.natcon2017@gmail.com
• The subject line of the email should read: “Article for NATCON 2017”.
• An abstract of about 150-200 words should precede the paper.
• Author’s name and a brief bio-data along with a recent passport size colour photograph should be sent along with the article.

Please Note:

• The Editorial Committee reserves the right to select the articles for publication.
• The Author will be responsible for all the content of the paper.
• Last date for submission of the Papers - November 20, 2017.

We hereby encourage all the Architects/Planners/ Urban Designers to put forth their views on the main theme / sub-themes and related issues.

We are awaiting a positive response on varied ideas to be published in this Souvenir.
